Unlike docks with wood surfaces which quickly age & become discolored, many Metal Craft dock systems are in their 3rd and 4th decade of service. These systems are still like new, showing little or no deterioration.

Have you ever seen a welded airplane? No, because the aluminum structure needs to flex - the same as does a dock system. Welded products are cheaper to manufacture, but do not stand up to tough in-water applications; Interlocked extrusions for strength & rigidity, with NO critical welds to break. Metal Craft docks have a proven track record for durability. We simply do not incorporate any materials that require maintenance or periodic replacement. Metal Craft Docks have a long, useful life cycle and very low recurring maintenance costs. Our first docks, which were installed in about 1958 are still in service. We are not aware of any Metal Craft dock systems that have had to be replaced due to aging.

Assembled at the Factory

Stationary docks: Decks, XBraces, Depth Braces, Base Pads, etc. are assembled at the factory and require only minor assembly at the job site. Floating docks: Decks, frames, floats, etc. are shipped fully assembled ready for installation. Only the placement of Mooring Cleats, Bumpers, Swim Ladders and Benches are required.

We warrant our dock systems against defects in material and workmanship for fifteen years.

Chardon is our manufacturing center and we have been making aluminum boat docks at this location since 1957!
